Sierra Providence announces the appointment of Kristy L. Waters as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Sierra Providence Health Network.

Prior to her appointment at Sierra Providence, Mrs. Waters served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at East Cooper Regional Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, where she oversaw patient financial services, health information services and surgical services. Mrs. Waters has 20 years experience in the health care and finance fields.

Mrs. Waters was named Outstanding Chief Financial Officer for Tenet Healthcare Corp in 2003, 2001 and 1999.

Mrs. Waters also served as Regional Executive Vice President of Finance at Bon Secours Health System in Venice, Florida. She holds a master’s degree in health administration from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the College of Charleston.
