Lynne Gregory, RN, MN, CNS has been appointed as as Vice President of Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer at Providence Memorial Hospital. In her new role, Lynne will oversee Providence’s nursing division to include 10 administrative nursing directors and over 1,000 employees.
Lynne has been at Providence for 14 years and has served as interim Chief Nursing Officer for the past 12 months. In this role, she has demonstrated excellent leadership skills. Prior to this role, Lynne worked as Interim Vice President, Patient Services, and as Administrative Director of Hospice, Skilled Nursing Facility and Oncology Services.
Lynne has over 35 years experience in the field of nursing and has worked in a variety of clinical areas including medical-surgical, oncology, orthopedics, wound care and hospice. She has been instrumental in bringing several new programs to Providence including wound care, hospice and bariatrics.
Lynne received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Florida State University and a master’s degree in nursing from Emory University. She has also served as a captain the in the United States Army Nurse Corps and as assistant professor in the University of Texas Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in San Antonio, Texas.
