Scheduling

In order to schedule a procedure, please call the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Sierra Providence East Medical Center. Please make sure you inform the scheduler of your physician’s name and the procedure or test being done. Physician orders are required for all procedures.

Insurance

The staff at Sierra Providence East Medical Center will work with your insurance carrier to pre-certify your test or procedure. Many times coverage is determined by your individual carrier. Because plans and benefits can vary, we recommend that you discuss the costs with your company health benefits coordinator or staff member at your Human Resources Department.

To prepare for your appointment:

• Dress in a comfortable two piece outfit Avoid wearing deodorant, powders or creams
• Bring original films of any previous mammograms not performed at Sierra Providence East Medical Center’s Diagnostic Imaging Center    

To bring to your appointment:

• Bring your referral form from your doctor and your insurance card
• Call 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel your appointment
