Sierra Providence Health Network (SPHN) is pleased to announce a partnership with both Cielo Vista and Sunland Park Malls by sponsoring the play area at both facilities. It will be named, "The Children’s Hospital at Providence" play area.
Our grand opening will be held on Saturday September 30th at Sunland Park Mall; from 1pm to 4pm. Food and entertainment will be on hand to celebrate this event. SP the Diamond (SPHN’s new mascot) will also be making an appearance to commemorate this new partnership. The following Saturday October 7th SP the Diamond will cut the ribbon on the Cielo Vista Mall location with an appearance between 1pm-4pm. Both events will feature safety tips for kids provided by the professionals from the Children’s Hospital at Providence.
This new venture will create another avenue in Sierra Providence Health Network’s vision to continue to position the Children’s Hospital at Providence as the only children’s hospital in the area. Leading the charge will be the opportunity to increase public awareness of our overall services to thousands of mall visitors. As part of this agreement a permanent a Kiosk will be located within the Malls to promote areas such as recruitment, information for health screenings and the overall promotion of our services. Permanent use of external reader boards will also be used to promote SPHN’s services.
"We are extremely happy to be sponsoring this play area. Not only is it a unique promotional initiative, but more importantly we will be able to utilize this sponsorship as a tool to inform the public about our comprehensive services offered at El Paso’s only children’s hospital," said Irene Chavez COO at Providence Memorial Hospital.
