The Continuing Medical Education Program at Sierra Providence Health Network has been developed by the medical staff and administration to improve patient care by addressing professional education needs and opportunities through organized programs for physicians in the El Paso area and surrounding region. Education activities are designed to address identified educational needs of physicians with a goal to close identified gaps in medical practice, enhancing competence and physician performance for improved patient outcomes.

Sierra Providence Health Network is accredited by the Texas Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. All CME activities are planned and implemented in accordance with the TMA Essential Areas and Their Elements to meet established criteria for education planning and quality.
