At Sierra Providence Health Network, aging gracefully means pursuing a healthy lifestyle. If you are 55 or older, you can become a member of 55Plus®, a free program dedicated to healthconscious people like you who lead an active lifestyle.

When you sign up to become a member, you'll receive an introductory kit that includes your membership card and helpful information about program benefits including:

Community Referral Service
If you need specialized services not offered by 55Plus or one of our network facilities, we'll provide you with a list of community agencies that may be able to help. Just call our Consumer Information Line at (915) 577-6000.

Guest Meal Tickets
As a 55Plus member, you are entitled to receive two free guest meal tickets upon admission to Providence, Sierra or Sierra Providence Physical Rehabilitaion Hospital. During your hospital stay, your spouse or friend can share a meal with you from either of our three hospital cafeterias or from La Ristra coffee shop at Providence. A patient representative will provide you with tickets and instructions.

Health Screenings and Seminars
We know that staying healthy is one of your concerns. That's why we offer periodic preventative screenings for health conditions such as diabetes and high cholesterol. You'll also be notified of upcoming health seminars on such topics as arthritis, heart disease and nutrition.

Catalyst Scripts
A no cost discount prescription card. Participation is free for 55Plus members. If you are not already a Catalyst Scripts member, please call 577-6000 for a membership application. In about 4-6 weeks, you will receive your Catalyst Scripts card in the mail and you may begin to save money.

Lifeline Emergency Response System
Lifeline is an easy to use personal response services that ensures that older adults living at home get quick assistance whenever it is needed- 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For a little more than a dollar a day, you get the Lifeline Personal Response System. 55PLUS members qualify for free installation several times a year. You are not required to buy any equipment.
