Advanced Obstetric Care for You and Your Baby

For over 50 years, the Sierra Providence Health Network has been giving babies and mothers the kind of special attention they deserve from neonatal physican availability to intensive care nursery services. At Providence Memorial Hospital, Sierra Medical Center and Sierra Providence East Medical Center, our goal is to maintain safe, healthy deliveries while keeping the mother, child and family comfortable and informed.

Each staff member in our network is required to meet the highest level of performance and requirements at  each stage of labor, delivery and post-care. RN's are certified in CPR, neonatal resuscitation, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and fetal monitoring; all necessary skills for low and high-risk pregancies. Each facility is also equipped with computers that monitor newborns at all times.

Each hospital in our network features a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) offering the highest state-recognized level of care for premature and critically ill babies. An in-house, board-certified neonatologist and neonatal nurse practitioners are on call 24/7 to meet the needs of our smallest patients.
