Sierra Providence East Medical Center
Sierra Providence East Medical Center opened in May 2008 to serve the needs of east El Paso's growing community. Located at Edgemere and Loop 375, the 110-bed hospital has 12 Intensive Care Unit beds, six Neonatal Intensive Care beds, and a 20-bed Emergency Department.
At the Birthing Center, families have access to a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), 10-bed Labor and Delivery Unit, C-section rooms and Parents’ Sleep Room. Surgical Services feature six operating rooms, four endoscopy rooms and a Pre-Operative Testing Center. Our Emergency Services offers cardiac and invasive monitoring and the staff uses protocols for effective care, such as rapid administration of therapies including thromboplasminogen activator (TPA) for patients with heart attack symptoms.
