Sierra Providence Health Network is committed to providing the very best in patient care. When patients request one of our facilities, we coordinate with your physician or surgeon to assure a seamless process. Whether it's a minor or a more complex procedure, we work hard to make you feel comfortable and prepared.
Pre-Admission
It may be useful to discuss a care plan with your physician prior to scheduling your surgery. Understanding what will happen to you before, during and after your hospital visit will lessen stress and give you some piece of mind. View a pre-admission preparation checklist.
Pre-Op Clinic
We strongly encourage you to use a Pre-Op Clinic located at each of our facilities. The Pre-Op Clinics are designed to help prepare you for your procedure and recovery. You may visit us on a walk-in basis or by appointment. This service is designed to help decrease your waiting time and stress level on the day of surgery as well as may prevent any unexpected cancellations. Once you're there, we'll give you a packet that provides all the information you'll need to prepare. What do I bring with me?
During This Process You Will:
- Pre-register at the SPHN facility where your surgery will be
- Have all pre-operative tests completed
- Complete all paperwork and interview with the nurse
- Receive pre-operative instructions to assist you on the day of surgery as well as with your recovery by an RN
