Discover the Power of Rehab
Most of us take good health for granted. But for those who've suffered a serious injury or incapacitating illness, everything changes. When even the simplest of tasks become a challenge, you may need help.

That's why Sierra Providence Health Network is there – to help patients and their families discover the power of rehab.

From the grandmother of eight, who's recovering from hip replacement surgery to the local golf pro who's injured his back or the little league coach who's had bypass surgery, our goal has been to help patients realize their highest level of function.

Each patient's treatment plan is developed to fit his or her specific needs and draws upon a wide variety of physical, occupational and speech therapies. Working with both patient and family, we offer comprehensive physical therapy programs on an inpatient and outpatient basis at several convenient locations:

Sierra Providence Physical Rehabilitation Hospital
Sierra Providence Physical Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient therapy for patients using a multidisciplinary approach to treatment. With advanced technology, diagnostic testing and individual case evaluation, physical therapy specialists help create treatment plans that are progressive and flexible in nature. Patients are evaluated periodically to monitor their progress. Family members may also participate in their loved one's recovery through education and training programs.

Sierra Providence Physical Rehabilitation Hospital specializes in comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation programs for cardiac and pulmonary patients. Whether you're recovering from valve replacement surgery, angioplasty, open heart or by-pass surgery, the Cardiac Rehabilitation program is there to help you and your family. Using a combination of patient education and training, the program teaches each patient how to cope with the problems associated with heart disease. To receive a free informational brochure on this program, please call (915) 577-6000.

The Pulmonary Rehabilitation program offers therapeutic treatment plans for health problems associated with lung disease, including asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, emphysema and chronic bronchitis. Through education and exercise, patients may learn to control symptoms of lung disease, such as shortness of breath, and increase their level of physical activity. To receive a free informational brochure on this program, please call (915) 577-6000.

Sierra Providence Lomaland Center
Sometimes an illness or injury may not mean a hospital stay, but may still require rehabilitation to help in your recovery process. Our outpatient facility on El Paso's East side offers you a wide range of rehabilitation programs and therapies at a location closer to home. The center, located at 1380-A Lomaland, also has pool facilities, an ERGOS Evaluator & Simulator and vocational services designed to help you achieve your highest level of function whether it's work, school, sports or home activities.

Border Children's Health Center
Border Children's offers comprehensive on-site rehabilitation services designed specifically for children who have suffered a physical injury or who have functional limitations due to their medical condition, such as cerebral palsy or spina bifida. Pediatric rehabilitation services are provided on an outpatient basis and include speech, occupational and physical therapy. To receive a free informational brochure on this program, please call (915) 577-6000.
